Setting up the Messenger integration is done in WooCommerce \/ Settings<\/strong> under the Shipping \/ Messenger<\/strong> tab. You can adjust the shipping price classically via WooCommerce \/ Settings \/ Shipping<\/strong> as you are used to. If you haven’t installed the plugin yet, you want to start reading from the Installing the plugin article<\/a>. <\/p>\n

Basic settings<\/h2>\n\n

Below, we’ll go through the individual plugin settings in WooCommerce \/ Settings \/ Shipping \/ Messenger<\/strong> that need to be adjusted before you can start using it. <\/p>\n\n

1. Integration<\/h3>\n\n

  1. Enter your username<\/strong> and password <\/strong>(the same as the one you use to log in to the portal in Messenger).<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Enter the importKey<\/strong> you should get from Messenger. If you don’t have one, contact their support<\/a>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. For starters, I recommend Enable Debugging<\/strong>, which means saving all requests to Messenger so you know what’s going on in your store. Once you have tested it, you can disable logging. Requests that Messenger rejects outright as incorrect will be logged anyway. Most errors (missing data, etc.) will not be logged because Messenger does not process requests in real time. If you happen to make such a mistake, they will usually call you so you don’t have to worry.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n

    2. Transport settings<\/h3>\n\n

    Set the shipping type<\/strong> – unless you have arranged a special one, leave the 106 type (economy delivery the day after pick-up).<\/p>\n\n

    For proper cooperation with Messenger, the number of packages and their weight rounded to the nearest kilogram must be transmitted. Since it is not possible to estimate how you want to pack a package in WooCommerce in the case of multiple packages, I agreed with Messenger that the total weight of all packages will be divided by the number of packages (i.e. it does not reflect the actual packing), but should be enough to change the price.<\/p>\n\n

    The weight of the shipment is calculated by the weight of the products(how to add the weight of the product?<\/a>) + the weight of the packaging material. You can specify this in the Weight of packaging material<\/strong> setting.<\/p>\n\n

    You have the possibility to influence how many packages the goods will be divided into in two ways (the first one that is fulfilled is always used):<\/p>\n\n
